Christian focuses on patent litigation in the life sciences, medical devices and technology sectors. He has represented a wide range of clients, from multinational companies to SMEs, in infringement and nullity proceedings before national and European courts. Since the start of the Unified Patent Court, he has been very active in this Court, trying cases before several local divisions as well as the central division.

Next to his litigation practice, Christian also advises on intellectual property issues specific to the life sciences industry, including the interface between IP and regulatory matters such as supplementary protection certificates, the Bolar exemption, and data exclusivity.
