Isabella is a European Patent Attorney and holds a European Patent Litigation Certificate (EPLC), qualifying her to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). She holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on micro- and nanotechnology, having studied at RWTH Aachen and the University of California, Davis. Isabella has more than 10 years of experience in the fields of electrical engineering, software, and artificial intelligence. She has special expertise in technical solutions and software-related inventions.

Isabella is extremely versatile and advises national and international clients, especially from China, across the entire patent life cycle – from patent application strategies and prosecution to contentious disputes. As a member of the HEUKING Patent Law team, she is particularly active in patent infringement, nullity and opposition proceedings before the respective courts and offices, including proceedings before the Unified Patent Court.

Vita

Isabella joined Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in November 2021. Previously, she practiced as a European Patent Attorney at FARAGO law firm in Aachen. She started her professional career as a Patent Engineer at Jostarndt Patent Law Firm.
