    Three New Square, which continues to challenge market leader 8 New Square and closest competitor 11 South Square in all sectors, is once again showcasing the strength of the talent it has to offer. While in previous years the set's barristers have been especially present in life sciences cases, the more diverse assortment of recent patent cases has necessitated them to appear for a wider array of clients.     Monckton Chambers, like other commercial law sets, has benefited from the increase in disputes over SEP portfolio and interim licences at the UK patent courts. SEP holders such as Ericsson and Panasonic have recently sought the commercial law expertise of KC Meredith Pickford. Junior barrister Ligia Osepciu, on the other hand, was more active on the implementer side for Xiaomi and Tesla. Mockton is not present in pure patent disputes outside the mobile communications sector.
