About Christopher J. Hall, Ph.D.

Christopher (Chris) Hall, Ph.D., is a European and part-qualified U.K. patent attorney with a background in organic chemistry. He is experienced in prosecuting patent applications in Europe and worldwide related to a diverse range of subject-matter, from organic electronics to pharmaceuticals. Chris has also worked on oppositions before the European Patent Office (EPO).

In addition to his experience before the EPO, Chris has enjoyed preparing freedom to operate and validity opinions, as well as counseling on patent portfolio management. Before joining Finnegan, Chris trained with a London-based patent firm where he focused on European patent prosecution, including work on behalf of one of the world’s largest smartphone manufacturers.
