The patent attorneys at this medium-sized German IP firm are strongly positioned to litigate for their regular clients in various technical fields. For example, they conduct extensive litigation for printer manufacturer Brother in the highly lucrative printer cartridge industry.

The difficult economic environment for mechanical engineering and combustion engines is currently causing Prüfer & Partner’s prosecution business to shift. Business is growing in other technological fields, such as battery technology. Chemicals and electronics patents offer good growth opportunities for the firm in other sectors, such as medical technology. For example, the firm represents Terumo in EPO oppositions concerning therapeutic catheters.
