During this time, many lawyers and patent attorneys at companies and law firms have opened their doors to us. Today, in our latest video, we open our doors to you to give you a sneak peak behind the scenes at JUVE Patent.

When JUVE decided to launch JUVE Patent in December 2018, this step involved many new developments. JUVE Patent is JUVE’s first online-only publication, exclusively in English and aimed at a global readership.
Our British colleague Amy Sandys came to Germany to help launch the news site and has been reporting for us ever since. Not new to JUVE, but new to patent law, were our editor Konstanze Richter and our production editor Laura King. The latter already had many years of experience at JUVE in translating the rankings, but had not yet had any experience with online and case reporting.
JUVE Patent looks to the future
Our veteran in patent law, Mathieu Klos, explains in this video for the first time how he came to this field. When the website was launched, I was still on parental leave with my second son, so it’s also a birthday for me too, albeit of a different kind. Five years on, the world of patent is exciting and full of new discoveries.
With many more exciting things to come, we plan to ensure JUVE Patent continues to go from strength to strength.
