The French team of this US firm is well positioned in the market thanks to its experience in international litigation, especially relating to SPCs. The firm boasts strong roots in the life sciences and pharma sector, including Daiichi Sankyo. Jones Day can also point to much activity for medical product manufacturers, for example defending Schwind against Carl Zeiss over laser eye surgery.

The team has a broad technical setup overall. The more extensive proceedings of late have included litigation for Lufthansa against Astronics, Panasonic and Thales Avionics over aeroplane seats.
