Monckton Chambers, like other commercial law sets, has benefited from the increase in disputes over SEP portfolio and interim licences at the UK patent courts. SEP holders such as Ericsson and Panasonic have recently sought the commercial law expertise of KC Meredith Pickford. Junior barrister Ligia Osepciu, on the other hand, was more active on the implementer side for Xiaomi and Tesla. Mockton is not present in pure patent disputes outside the mobile communications sector.
