About Andreas Mötsch
Andreas Mötsch is one of the founding partners of the firm. Prior to founding Thum & Partners, he worked for more than 14 years as a patent engineer, associate and salary partner in one of Germany’s leading patent law firms.
Andreas Mötsch advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property law. His clients are primarily active in the technical fields of mechanical engineering, sensor technology, production technology and automotive engineering. He drafts patent applications, handles patent granting proceedings as well as German and European opposition proceedings against competitor patents. Furthermore, he brings in his experience in conducting German and international nullity and infringement proceedings.
