About Simon Cohen
Simon is recognised as an outstanding patent litigator, with a top-tier practice, advising global life sciences companies. He has been a patent litigation partner at Taylor Wessing for more than 25 years and for many years was Head of Taylor Wessing’s International Patents and Life Sciences groups.
He specialises in contentious patent work in a variety of industries, advising clients, particularly within the life sciences industry, on patent infringement, launch strategy and preliminary injunction applications and regularly co-operates with lawyers conducting parallel litigation in the US and other European jurisdictions. Simon is currently acting for Pfizer in various patent cases in the UK and Europe relating to the COVID vaccine against Moderna and CureVac.
