Nicolas M. Dumont is a litigation‑focused IP practitioner representing European and international clients in complex patent and trade secret disputes. He acts in high‑stakes infringement and validity proceedings across a wide range of technologies and regularly coordinates cross‑border enforcement strategies in multi‑jurisdictional conflicts. His practice combines procedural precision with a commercially driven approach to both enforcement and defence.

Nicolas has been involved in several prominent patent infringement matters before German courts and brings additional experience from international arbitration proceedings with a strong IP and technology nexus. Beyond litigation, he advises on the negotiation of licence agreements and supports IP‑intensive transactions and joint‑venture projects, particularly where contentious issues or enforcement risks are central.

Since 2018, Nicolas has served as a recurring guest lecturer in the University of Göttingen’s LL.M. programme, teaching transnational enforcement of IP and IT law—an academic engagement that deepens his comparative understanding of cross‑border litigation.
