JUVE Patent

Szleper Henry Naumann – France 2026

JUVE Comment

This traditional IP boutique maintains a busy patent litigation practice across a broad range of technologies. Midsized clients from different sectors such as mechanical engineering, consumer goods and medical devices deliver a steady stream of litigation work. This is rooted in the team’s traditionally excellent contacts among midsized companies as well as law firms and patent attorney firms in Germany, which lead to regular referrals. For example Guillaume Henry represented German provider of telecommunication cables Telenco against Preformed Line Products.

This strong connection to Germany also led to the team’s first UPC-related work. While not acting alone at the European court, the team was consulted regarding questions in French law by a German law firm in a case for a medical device company. This is a start, but competitors such as the similarly positioned IP boutique Armengaud Guerlain are already further ahead when it comes to taking the lead for clients in UPC cases.
