Nigel is head of our UK patents team. Known by clients for his clear insight, depth of experience and strategic vision, Nigel specialises in patent litigation and advice with a focus on the medical devices, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, chemical and engineering industries.
Nigel has unparalleled experience of acting for clients and leading international teams in high profile patent cases throughout national courts in Europe and the UPC.
Nigel is currently acting for Abbott in their litigation against Dexcom at the UPC, the EPO and in national courts in both Germany and the UK. He is also acting for Pfizer in the high stakes COVID vaccine litigation against Moderna and CureVac in the UK, Germany, Netherlands and Belgium.
