Mike is a partner in Taylor Wessing’s UK IP team specialising in patent and trade secrets litigation. He has acted in some of the largest high-tech patents cases in the UK courts and the UPC across a variety of technologies including telecommunications, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and agrochemicals.
Mike has extensive experience of coordinating complex patent litigation across multiple jurisdictions. He has particular expertise in SEP and FRAND disputes, and provides strategic advice on navigating the different enforcement regimes of the European national courts and the UPC for SEPs. Mike is also one of the very few lawyers with experience of taking a global FRAND rate setting dispute all the way to a trial in the in the UK courts.
