About Dr. Christian Lederer
With more than 20 years of patent experience, Christian is one of the most experienced patent lawyers in the Patents, Technology and Life Sceinces group of Taylor Wessing. Christian advises and represents clients on all aspects of patent law. A focus of his practice is the management and coordination of international patent disputes.
Christian acts for his clients before all relevant German and European patent courts and patent authorities including the newly established Unified Patent Court. He emphasizes also on advising and representing Asian clients.
Christian is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR) and the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) where he acted for many years as Chairperson of the Nominating Committee. He is furthermore member of the German-Japanese Association of Jurists (DJJV) where he holds the position of spokesman for the state of Bavaria and member in the Deutsch-Japanische Gesellschaft (DJG).
