About Mari Korsten
Mari joined NLO as a partner in 2011. Previously, he worked as a Dutch and European patent attorney at Novartis Pharma in Switzerland, where he was responsible for the specialty products portfolio and litigation. After returning to the Netherlands, Mari joined Bird & Bird in The Hague where he handled oppositions and court proceedings on behalf of pharmaceutical and chemical clients.
Mari is often involved in patent litigation cases at the courts in the Netherlands and Belgium. In addition, he regularly acts in opposition proceedings at the European Patent Office and he helps life-science companies to prepare and implement their patent strategy.
