About Julius Zacharias
Having joined Taylor Wessing in 2016, Julius Zacharias is a member of the Practice Area Patents Technology & Life Sciences in our Munich office. In 2020, he has been promoted to Salary Partner.
From the very beginning of his career as a lawyer, Julius has been specializing in patent litigation with an industry focus on the life sciences sector. He advises national and international clients and represents them in patent disputes in and out of court, often in the context of multi-jurisdictional patent litigations. Julius’s practice covers infringement proceedings as well as invalidity proceedings before German courts and the UPC.
Julius studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich where he also worked as a research fellow at the department for civil law, IP law and competition law (chair of Professor Ohly) during his legal clerkship from 2012 to 2014.
Besides German and English, Julius also speaks Italian.
