About Dr. Dietrich Kamlah

Dietrich has been with Taylor Wessing´s Patents, Technology and Life Sciences group since 2005 and entered the Partner ranks in 2008.

He advises on patent law and other intellectual property matters with a technical background. He represents clients in complex international patent litigation in the sectors of telecommunications, IT and life science.

Particularly noteworthy is his expertise in the field of standard essential patents at the interface between patent and competition law. Solution-oriented advice in contract negotiations for research and development cooperations and transactions with an IP focus round off his portfolio.

Dietrich is a member in multiple IP associations, inluding the Deutsche Vereinigung für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz und Urheberrecht, the Licensing Executives Society and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
