Weickmann & Weickmann – Germany 2015
Rankings
JUVE Comment
The strength of this Munich firm respected for patents lies in portfolio management. Besides this, the patent attorneys are steadily developing litigation work for clients, incl. from the fields of pharmaceuticals and mechanics, and have gained a new pharmaceuticals company and an aluminum corporate as clients. Early 2015 saw W&W incorporate the nine-strong firm Hansmann & Vogeser into the practice, though only one patent attorney at partner level was among the new arrivals. A few months beforehand, a team around recommended patent attorney and engineer Dr. Hans-Jürgen Trossin spun off, forming Ruttensperger Lachnit Trossin Gomoll. The newly acquired team has so far gone relatively unnoticed in the market. In litigation, the firm only works with external lawyers.
