Samson & Partner – Germany 2015

JUVE Comment
This respected IP firm is known as one of the top names for mobile communications suits on the patent attorney side. But the proportion of work accounted for by mobile communications suits dropped, as key client Nokia was not in court as often, either as plaintiff or defendant. Instead, the firm’s litigation experience in electronics and mechanics patents emerged. S&P could use the current calm period in mobile communications suits to position its younger litigators, who are already established, in the market. Besides strong litigation work, the firm operates a flourishing, technically broad filing practice. It added three patent attorneys to the headcount.
