The team led by litigator Emmanuel de Marcellus is among the small, well-positioned IP boutiques with a purely national setup. It is frequently hired by SMEs, French branches of international companies and start-ups and therefore litigates for smaller, specialised companies against major corporations. Life sciences clients also frequently entrust the firm with IP transactions, especially in relation to licensing agreements.

European set-up

The small boutique has strong ties to French clients and the local branches of international companies. This gives rise to work in the French part of pan-European proceedings. The firm does not, however, have any established connections to firms in other European countries, which could make it interesting for firms that have no or only weak litigation practices in Paris when it comes to the UPC.
