Christoph has been working in the field of industrial and intellectual property, focusing on all trademark, design and unfair competition matters as well as online/domain name law since 2009.
He is Attorney at Law and joined Weickmann & Weickmann in 2009 and has been a partner in the trademark department of Weickmann and Weickmann since 2017.
Christoph studied Law at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Germany, with Legal internship at Regional Court of Munich and graduated from the University of Auckland in Faculty of Law with a Master of Laws degree in the field of Commercial Law, New Zealand. He also worked as a research associate at the Business School of the University of Auckland.
Christoph is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA), the Association of European Trade Mark Owners (MARQUES) and was member of INTA’s Trademark Office Practices Committee – EUIPO Subcommittee. He regularly runs trademark portfolio workshops for his clients as well as giving seminars and lectures to a wider audience such as General IP workshops during the Munich Creative Business Week.
